ArtixScan M1

SilverFast gets the best out of your ArtixScan M1. Use our IFF+Engine (Intelligent Frame Finding) to automatically find the frames of your photos lying on the flatbed.
The M1 is on the market as the successor of the i900 since 2007 and belongs to the Microtek ArtixScan series. This series aims to meet the high professional standards of arts, media and design industry and is therefore equipped with high quality technique.

Due to its transparency unit the Microtek ArtixScan M1 is suitable as a scanner for slides, film strips, nagatives, medium and large formats, documents and photographs. This makes it an extremely versatile scanner. The device contains an auto-focus technology, which ensures accurate scan results, even when scanning without glass slides. You can increase the scanner’s dynamic range and minimize image noise using SilverFast Multi-Exposure. This will capture more details, especially in dark areas. The Microtek ArtixScan M1 Pro already includes SilverFast Ai Studio, so that users can quickly and effectively achieve the best results.

SilverFast hatte einen äußerst bedeutenden technologischen Einfluss auf meine Karriere. SilverFast ist die eine Scanner-Software, die tatsächlich von Anfang an perfekte Scans liefert. Andere Software-Lösungen wie VueScan sind bei meinen Tests hinsichtlich Farb-Genauigkeit kläglich gescheitert.

Mit der optional erhältlichen Archive Suite (eine Kombination aus SilverFast Ai Studio und SilverFast HDR Studio) ist es auch möglich RAW-Scans zu erzeugen, um die Bearbeitungsschritte erst später in der HDR Software auszuführen. Durch die Option die Bilder als HDRi zu Scannen hat man bei der Nachbearbeitung dann sogar die Möglichkeit die Informationen des Infrarotkanals optimal manuell einzusetzen. Für den professionellen Einsatz empfiehlt es sich auf jeden Fall die Archive Suite zu verwenden.
