I have over a 40 year career film archive that I am in the process of digitizing myself. I recently purchased an Epson v850 Pro scanner that came with SilverFast software. I immediately upgraded to SilverFast Archive Suite including SilverFast HDR and began my film archive scanning journey. Just to make sure I was scanning all of my different types of film correctly I contacted SilverFast customer support. To my great surprise – I was offered a technical walkthrough with SilverFast founder Karl-Heinz Zahorsky!

Karl walked me through all of the SilverFast settings to achieve optimum results for all of my film types and formats. I can’t thank Karl and SilverFast enough as I am 100% satisfied with the quality and ease in maximum quality scanning! In my opinion – scanning this traditional way is far superior than all of the current camera film copying systems being marketed!
