Authentic colors: For calibrating your scanner, we recommend our patented and award-winning Auto IT8 Calibration using a calibration target from our own production in combination with SilverFast Ai Studio or Archive Suite.
Note on the Dual Lens System: For transparency mode, the Epson GT-X800 features two different focus levels. Select scan mode “Transparency”, if you want to use a filmholder. In this case, the focus of the scanner optics is precisely adjusted to the film holder. Use scan mode “Wide Transparency” only, if you want to place transparent originals directly on the flatbed.

Con l'Archive Suite disponibile come opzione (una combinazione di SilverFast Ai Studio e SilverFast HDR Studio) è anche possibile effettuare scansioni RAW, per poterle elaborare successivamente nel software HDR. Con l'opzione di scansione delle pellicole nel formato HDRi si ha la possibilità di utilizzare le informazioni del canale infrarosso in modo ottimale nella post-elaborazione. Per l'uso professionale si consiglia di utilizzare l'Archive Suite.
