The ICC Printer Calibration utilizes a flatbed scanner, its colors are perfectly adjusted with SilverFast’s automatic IT8 Calibration, as a measuring device for profiling the printer. There is no longer the need for expensive additional hardware or software – an all-in-one-solution. Simply print a test chart using your printer and scan this chart with your IT8 calibrated scanner. SilverFast calculates an ICC profile for your printer and the paper and ink combination.

カラー領域を最大に生かし、色調構成を利用したプリンター校正機能でのプリントアウトは、信じられないくらい最高の仕上がりを約束してくれます。出力時に使用されたインクのタイプと用紙のタイプは、プリントアウトした完成品に影響します。マテリアル変更時は、プリンター・インクの種類・用紙のタイプの組み合わせのためのICCプロファイル都度設定することにより、仕上がり作品のクオリティーを維持することができます。
色は主観的な感覚でもあるため、SilverFastのプリンターキャリブレーションでは、作成されたプロファイルを、ご使用の方の好みに応じてプロファイルを調整することができます。複雑なカラー配置ですが、SilverFastでは簡単に操作することができます。生成されたICCプロファイルに基づいて新しいターゲットが印刷され、その中からご使用者自ら最もニュートラルな色調値を選択することができます。その後、SilverFastは個別のユーザープロファイルを計算し保存します。
